EarthCruiser, an Oregon-based maker of expedition travel vehicles, has announced the EC Terranova Expedition Camper.
Available with a choice of 2020+ Ford F-350, Chevy Silverado 3500 or Ram 3500 domestic chassis, the 4×4 all-season cab-over expedition camper transforms your pickup into your home away from home. The EC Terranova allows outdoor enthusiasts to live out their passion for overlanding without sacrificing performance, comfort or livability.
According to EarthCruiser, the conversion is designed to perform in town or on the most rugged terrain with ease.

Additionally, thanks to the smaller house and lighter weight compared to traditional campers, the EC Terranova Expedition Camper allows for improved acceleration and performance on the highway. It can easily tow a boat, trailer or toy hauler as well.
Made of fiberglass and high-density plastic materials, the camper is mounted to the vehicle chassis using EarthCruiser’s proprietary kinetic mount system and the same foam insulated raising-roof found on EXD and EXP models.
The foam core composite construction and multi-layer curtain provide “unparalleled protection” against the elements, keeping the heat in, or out, all four-seasons. The triple-layer curtain has 8 windows which provide a 360-degree panoramic view, and include insect, privacy screens and clear vinyl protective layers. Interestingly, the roof can be raised or lowered without the need for locks or latches.
Inside, the EC Terranova offers expanded living quarters with the bed above the cab roof, accommodating four guests. The cabin includes a fan system integrated into the roof, DC air conditioner (optional), dinette bench seats with leather cushions and integrated storage, as well as a one-piece countertop with stainless steel sink, induction cooktop and Isotherm stainless steel refrigerator and freezer (12V / 4.24 cu ft).
That’s not all, though, as occupants also benefit from a freshwater pump and water system with freshwater tank, purified water drinking tap and kitchen faucet with hot/cold mixer, bathroom with shower and sink, and a cassette toilet recessed from view when not in use.
Currently in the design and engineering phase, the cab-over camper conversion is scheduled for release in early 2021 with reservations available now.
